GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) β A Georgetown woman was sentenced Tuesday by a U.S. District judge for a fentanyl trafficking conspiracy in 2022.
According to court documents, between September and October 2022, Mabel Francis Soto, 70, and her co-conspirator, Taylor Lee Burden, planned to sell drugs out of Sotoβs home on Payne Street in Georgetown.
On Oct. 19, Georgetown police were surveilling the Payne Street area when they noticed several vehicles arriving at Sotoβs home, according to an indictment. They watched Burden engage in what they believed to be drug transactions with the vehicles.
