LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Members of ONE Lexington joined Mayor Linda Gorton at a news conference to discuss gun violence survivor support services Thursday after two reported shootings in Lexington and Louisville.
Devine Carama, co-founder of ONE Lexington, which advocates against gun violence in the city, said he woke up hearing about a Thursday morning shooting, when a person was injured in a Lexington shooting on Centre Parkway.
“Woke up to the news of a nonfatal shooting this morning close to where I live, only an hour or so before kids started arriving at bus stops,” he wrote on social media.
