LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington man has been convicted for his role in a wide-ranging health care fraud and kickback scheme tied to a local sober living home.
Dashawn Dawkins, 34, was found guilty Wednesday of conspiracy to commit health care fraud. He and three others were originally indicted in November 2024 on charges including conspiracy to commit health care fraud and conspiracy to receive kickbacks.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Dawkins and co-defendant Ernest Williams were affiliated with Serenity Keepers, a Fayette County-based sober living home that claimed to provide substance abuse and mental health treatment services…
