LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Gas prices are climbing in Lexington, with unleaded averaging around $4 per gallon and diesel around $5.40. For food delivery workers, every fill-up hits hard.
Skylar Naser has been working for DoorDash for nearly six years full time. She says the price increase has become difficult to manage.
“I was paying $40 to fill up and now it’s almost $60 to fill up my tank and when people don’t tip or anything like that and you’re driving from Nicholasville to Lexington, well it’s pretty pointless at that point cuz you’re not making anything off of the dash,” Naser said…
