1 severely injured after shots fired in northeast Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person is fighting for their life after a Sunday night shooting in Lexington.

Officers with the Lexington Police Department told FOX 56 News that around 9 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 6, they’d been sent to the 800 block of Foxcroft Court in response to a victim who’d been shot.

Authorities reportedly found the victim outside a house in the neighborhood, who was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The victim’s identity was not released, but investigators said the shooting “didn’t appear” to be a criminal act…
