LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Kentucky woman has filed a lawsuit against a Lexington pie shop, alleging she became seriously ill and was hospitalized following a Salmonella outbreak linked to its desserts last year.
According to a complaint filed March 10 in Fayette County Circuit Court, Kathy Sears of London said she ate at Missy’s Pie Shop on June 20, 2025.
Two days later, she experienced severe symptoms and was diagnosed with Salmonella and sepsis. She was hospitalized for treatment on June 25, according to the filing…
