CROSS CREEK, Ky. (WOWK) — Firefighters were on the scene for a house fire in Cross Creek, Kentucky, Saturday morning for almost six hours.
According to a Facebook post from W.R. Castle Fire-Rescue, a smoke alarm went off at a home on Easy Street around 5:41 a.m.

The occupants of the house evacuated, and by the time firefighters arrived, flames had engulfed the roof.
The post said firefighters remained on scene until 11:25 a.m. and that the house is considered a total loss.
