Changes coming to Lexington’s Henry Clay High School

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Some big changes are coming to one Fayette County school.

On April 20, the district announced that Henry Clay High School will be transitioning to an academy model.

District leaders said they will organize the school into career-focused academies or pathways.

“This decision is the culmination of a journey that began in January with our instructional leadership team,” Principal Tony Blackman said in a press release. “Our goal was simple: to explore a structure that provides every student at Henry Clay with a more personalized, career-ready, and academically rigorous experience.”…
