4-car Lexington intersection crash leaves 1 hurt

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person was reportedly hurt in a four-car crash that led to one lane of westbound traffic being closed as crews continue working to clear the area.

Officers with the Lexington Police Department said officers were dispatched just after 8 a.m. on April 23 to the area of East New Circle Road and Tates Creek Road in response to a four-vehicle crash. One person involved in the crash was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Westbound traffic was temporarily closed, but one lane has since reopened, with crews working to clear the area as soon as possible.
