Ky. Powerball winner’s court hearing delayed for medical reasons

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A court hearing for a Kentucky Powerball winner is being pushed back for medical reasons. A judge says James Farthing will have the chance to address his medical issues before he’s back in court.

Farthing told WKYT he was in a coma after a jet ski accident and had woken up just a couple days ago. He was scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. Monday regarding burglary and marijuana possession charges.

Farthing is accused of breaking into a home on Kenesaw Drive and stealing $12,000. He was arrested in the Red Mile Gaming parking lot…
