Georgetown, Ky. (WKYT) – One person was injured Sunday afternoon after a house fire in Georgetown.
The Georgetown Fire Department responded to a house fire, finding several challenges upon arrival. The fire started on an exterior deck that was under construction. The front deck was under construction as well, so neither decks had stairs.
The fire department worked to adapt to the situation, and were able to extinguish the fire before it reached the attic. The resident was treated by EMS on the scene for minor burns…
