LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man was arrested on Saturday in Lexington for allegedly injuring one person with a piece of wood and punching another victim in the face.
According to a Lexington Police Department (LPD) arrest report, it happened around 5:15 p.m. on May 9 in the area of East Short Street. Officers said 20-year-old Raul Acosta allegedly put a “wooden object” to the back of a victim’s head.

Court documents went on to show that Acosta allegedly injured a second victim by pushing them down before punching them in the face.

He was arrested around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault causing minor injury.
An arraignment for 1 p.m. on Monday was rescheduled to 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20. Acosta was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash bond…
