Lexington doctor reflects on Kyle Busch’s legacy

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The NASCAR world is mourning the loss of one of its biggest stars. Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch died at the age of 41 after being hospitalized with what his family described as a severe illness.

A 911 call obtained by The Associated Press showed Busch reported shortness of breath, felt overheated, and was coughing up blood the day before his death.

AP also reported he became unresponsive while testing in a Chevrolet racing simulator before being taken to a hospital.
