LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man was sentenced on Thursday for selling a fentanyl pill tied to a 2023 overdose death.
According to court documents, Michel Mikaya, 35, was sentenced to at least 18 years in prison and at most 20 years for distributing a hazardous drug.
Mikaya was charged with delivery of a controlled substance on June 17, 2024, after investigators accused him of selling a fentanyl pill that they believe killed a 28-year-old man.
