Nebraska Cornhuskers news: GOAT recruiter again, brutal non-con, more

The Nebraska Cornhuskers women’s basketball team unveiled a challenging non-conference schedule late last week. The Huskers open their 11-game slate on November 2 against San Jose State, then stay home for their first returning postseason tournament qualifier, Western Illinois, on Saturday, Nov. 7. WIU faced North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this past spring. NU completes its season-opening home stand against North Carolina A&T on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Nebraska then hits the road for the first time to face Kansas on November 14. After a brief stop back home to face Mount Saint Mary’s for the first time in school history on Tuesday, Nov. 17, the Huskers will travel to Omaha for their annual clash with Creighton on Saturday, Nov. 21.

The Cornhuskers return to PBA for a pair of games against Summit League teams, Kansas City (November 24) and Omaha (December 5). Games against North Dakota (December 8) and Texas A&M (December 12) will wrap up home non-conference play for the Huskers, before they journey to the Chase Center in San Francisco to clash with California on Sunday, Dec. 20. After the Christmas break, the Nebraska Cornhuskers will open their always difficult Big Ten schedule.
