LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska Today) – The parking area immediately south of Memorial Stadium will be closed due to construction starting July 1. The lot will be closed for the entirety of the stadium’s Big Red Rebuild project.
The area will shift to a construction area, and 98 parking spaces will be eliminated. The reduction includes most of the lot’s existing parking area and service access spaces near Avery Hall. Reserved, hourly and Building Systems Maintenance spaces will be affected. Signs will direct traffic changes and identify parking restrictions.
Additional access and permit parking changes will be implemented as part of construction in the coming months. Details will be shared in advance…
