LINCOLN, NEB — Athletes from across the country are in Lincoln this month for the 2026 USA Roller Sports National Championships, where competitors of all ages are vying for national titles in multiple roller sports disciplines.
This week’s competition at the Speedway Sports Complex features speed skating, with participants ranging from young beginners to professional athletes and Olympians.
“We have athletes as young as 3 years old that have entered this event, and we have athletes all the way up into their 70s,” said Kelly Springer, vice president of USA Roller Sports. “We have everything from newer beginners all the way through professional athletes. Often, we even have Olympians and former Olympians joining us at these championships.”…
