LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A man was arrested on Saturday after he reportedly held a woman at knifepoint over a fake drug purchase in northeast Lincoln, police say.
Officers were called to a weapons violation in progress at the Travelodge near Cornhusker Highway and Superior Street at 11:05 p.m.
Staff at the hotel reported that a man had a woman at knifepoint in a room.
Court records stated that 38-year-old Andrew Studnicka was with a woman who had suggested a drug dealer that he could buy methamphetamine from. Studnicka bought the drugs from the dealer, and later found out that the methamphetamine was replaced with salt…
