Nebraska Athletics Announces Staff Promotions

In advance of the 2026-27 athletic year, Nebraska Athletics has made several promotions and changes in responsibility for athletic administrators. Staff members with new roles and titles include the following:

  • Kortne Gosha, Deputy AD—Chief Commercial Officer
  • Brandon Meier, Deputy AD-External Affairs
  • Larry Maples, Senior Associate AD—Capital Planning & Facilities
  • Lonna Henrichs, Senior Associate AD—Licensing & Business Development
  • Blake Chramosta, Assistant Director for Cap Management
  • Sam Rice, Assistant AD—Creative and Emerging Media
  • “We have a talented and dedicated staff at Nebraska that work diligently to serve our University, student-athletes, coaches and fans,” Director of Athletics Troy Dannen said. “As the landscape of college athletics and our priorities at Nebraska constantly evolve, we make staff adjustments to best meet our goals and serve all our constituents. We are pleased to elevate several staff members to help ensure we continue to operate effectively and efficiently.”

Gosha led Nebraska’s capital planning and construction unit since coming to Lincoln in 2024. In his updated role, Gosha’s focus will be to oversee all aspects of the Big Red Rebuild project, a transformational project that will reshape Memorial Stadium for decades to come. Gosha will also assist in commercial innovation and integration leading to increased revenue and external engagement. He will also assist in governmental relations and day-to-day support of the Husker football program.

Maples will take over the day-to-day oversight of the Capital Planning and Construction team. Maples joined Nebraska in 2024 and has led several capital projects within Husker athletics over the past two years. He is also heavily involved in the Big Red Rebuild project and led the nearly completed construction project at the Bob Devaney Sports Center and John Cook Arena.

Meier has served since 2018 as Nebraska’s Senior Associate AD for Marketing and Multimedia. He continues to lead many of Nebraska’s external departments, including Marketing and Fan Experience, HuskerVision, Creative and Emerging Media, Community and Government Relations and Spirit squads.
