Two men sentenced to a collective 26 years after 120 pounds of meth were found in vehicle

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Today, United States Attorney Lesley A. Woods announced the sentencing of Ever Cano Ruacho, 36, and Jimmie Collazo, Jr.,35, both from Minnesota.

Both were sentenced for conspiracy to posses with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

On Oct. 16, 2025, an officer with Lincoln Police Department performed a traffic stop on a pickup driven by Ruacho and occupied by Collazo. After a search of the vehicle, officers found 120 pounds of pure methamphetamine…
