Nebraska is more worried about Andi Jackson’s injury than Depaul amid another sweep

Friday night might have been another “ho hum” sweep over an unranked opponent for the Nebraska volleyball team, but it’s safe to say that before and after the match, their attention and worry returned to Andi Jackson.

Jackson, a senior, was seen in street clothes during Friday’s pregame at Wintrust Arena. She didn’t participate in the 25-19, 25-13, 25-15 victory over the DePaul Blue Demons, and there’s at least some worry about when she’ll be back. While Jackson is expected to be available for Sunday’s match against Missouri at Wrigley Field, lower-leg injuries can always be a bit unpredictable. They could, at the very least, continue to annoy her for a while if she plays on it.

Jackson’s injury occurred with Nebraska leading 15-10 in the third set against South Dakota State. Freshman Keoni Williams replaced her. Jackson went straight into the locker room and wasn’t on Nebraska’s bench for the remainder of the match…
