Families enjoy Labor Day at Pioneer’s Park despite heat

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – High temperatures couldn’t stop people from getting outside on Monday during Labor Day.

Dozens of people were seen enjoying Pioneer’s Park, despite the sweltering temperatures that were well into the 90’s. The Shriner family said they tried to get out of the house, with the promise of ice cream after a day at the park.
