One Book One Lincoln Announces 2026 Selection

Lincoln City Libraries has selected “Culpability” by Bruce Holsinger as the 2026 One Book One Lincoln community reading selection. The novel follows a family after their autonomous minivan crashes into another vehicle, raising questions about responsibility, artificial intelligence and who is accountable when technology is involved.

Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird says the book raises timely questions about the rapidly changing role of technology. “Culpability asks timely and thought-provoking questions about how rapidly changing technology is shaping our lives,” Gaylor Baird says. “This year’s One Book One Lincoln selection gives our community an opportunity to explore those questions together.”

Holsinger will visit Lincoln October 20th at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln High School Auditorium. The free event will include an interview, question-and-answer session and book signing. Registration is not required…
