LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – As another Husker game approaches on Saturday, bars and restaurants around Lincoln are preparing for something many haven’t dealt with before: a late night game that doesn’t start until 10 p.m.
The game against Oregon is taking place in Eugene, and kicks off at 8 p.m. Pacific Time, making it a much later night for fans out in the Midwest. That kickoff is actually the Huskers’ latest start time since 1992.
Big 10 Sports Bar & Grill in downtown Lincoln says it’s going to make the best of it, planning to play the entirety of the game on their screens, even if they have to cut off alcohol sales at 2 a.m…
