Lincoln police and the Nebraska State Patrol are digging up the basement of a Lincoln home to search for possible human remains in connection with the 2000 disappearance of Regina Bos.

Investigators are working on digging up the basement of a house near 68th Street and Burlington Avenue, in the hope of finding “some possible remains.”
The Lincoln Police Department said Thursday, October 22, 2026, that the search is related to Bos’s disappearance, according to 1011 NOW.
