OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Clouds managed to clear just in time to bring some sunshine to the metro for the late afternoon and early evening hours. Temperatures didn’t warm a lot downtown, with temperatures remaining into the low to mid-30s. However, on the west side of the metro where the sun came out a little quicker, temperatures actually warmed to near 40 degrees. Lincoln actually jumped to 43 this afternoon, giving the area a little extra melting.
