Man Sentenced to 37-47 Years for Firearms, Drugs, and Evidence Tampering

A 23-year-old man who once faced a murder charge in a a downtown Lincoln murder will now serve a lengthy prison sentence on separate charges involving firearms, drugs, and evidence tampering, as reported by 10/11 NOW.

Jahhrasta Fletcher was sentenced on Wednesday to a minimum of 37 years and a maximum of 47 years in prison on separate charges.

These charges include possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm with drug possession, delivery or possession with intent to deliver a schedule four or five drug, possession of a stolen firearm, and tampering with physical evidence.

The charges he was convicted of include:

  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
  • Possession of a firearm with drug possession
  • Delivery or possession with intent to deliver a Schedule IV or V drug
  • Possession of a stolen firearm
  • Tampering with physical evidence

Previous Murder Charge Dismissed

Fletcher had previously pleaded guilty to these charges. His sentencing comes after an arrest on suspicion of first-degree murder in the killing of 33-year-old Robert Michael Brannon on September 25, 2022.
