LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities have identified a 17-year-old Columbus boy who was killed by police. The Nebraska State Patrol said Thursday that Chase Ditter died after being shot by an officer. The shooting happened about 1 p.m. Tuesday during a welfare check on Ditter, according to the patrol.
