Nebraska staple announces death of owner who considered his customers as a ‘Goomba’

OMAHA, Neb. – A popular Nebraska staple announced the death of one of its owners. Valentino’s Pizza started in Lincoln and, in 1971, was purchased by Anthony “Tony” Messineo Jr. and his brother. They expanded the pizzeria to several stores in six states and, of course, inside Memorial Stadium.
