Rollbacks on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives over the past two years have been hitting universities across the country. Lawmakers introducing bills to limit or totally ban DEI across the nation have targeted educational institutions, claiming they must turn their focus away from social issues and back to instruction and learning. Similar restrictions could now be headed for Nebraska institutions.
