LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln Police officer who rescued a woman from Holmes Lake last November was presented the December 2023 Mayor’s Award of Excellence. Officer Pierce Krouse received the award during the City Council meeting on Monday. The Mayor’s Award of Excellence recognizes City employees who consistently provide exemplary service and work that demonstrates personal commitment to Lincoln.
