LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Tuesday was Mardi Gras, and as people celebrated in Lincoln, the party was a little more meaningful at one assisted-living center. Those who call it home are having a lot of fun with Fat Tuesday, complete with costumes, food, and live music. Somewhere in the sea of purple and green were the guests of Lexington Assisted Living. They threw their own Mardi Gras Parade and Lexington resident Marlene Leon from New Orleans led the parade.
