The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office disclosed details about an anonymous letter linked to the Tyler Goodrich case. This letter, received at the end of the previous year, was handwritten and lacked a return address, leaving the investigators initially unable to trace its author.
However, Chief Deputy Ben Houchin later reported that they managed to locate and converse with the woman who wrote the letter.
According to Houchin, the letter contained specific details, but they were stemming from a vision the woman had experienced.
Despite the clarity of the vision, she was unable to provide any tangible evidence to assist in locating Tyler Goodrich.
“The letter was specific, but it was from a vision that she had,” Houchin said in a press release. “She did not have any proof of the vision to help us locate Tyler Goodrich.”
The vision involved Goodrich being struck by a drunk driver while he was running, but as Houchin noted, there is no evidence to support the accuracy of this vision, nor could the woman provide a precise location to further the investigation.
