Lincoln woman rams task force vehicles in attempt to evade arrest

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln woman wanted on a felony arrest warrant rammed into task force officers’ vehicles in a failed attempt to escape. The Metro Area Fugitive Task Force spotted Makaila Fryrear, 30, pumping gas into her Audi at 44th and Cornhusker. Task force members attempted to take her into custody by boxing in her vehicle, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said. Fryrear managed to get back in the driver’s seat, rammed into the task members’ vehicles, and escaped.
