Tennessee commit George McIntyre claps back at Nebraska commit Dylan Raiola’s attempt to recruit 5-star OL David Sanders Jr

Tennessee Vols 2025 five-star quarterback commit George MacIntyre clapped back at Nebraska Cornhuskers five-star quarterback commit Dylan Raiola on Thursday evening on Twitter/X.com because of Raiola’s recruiting pitch to 2025 five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr.

Whew. Got that?

Tennessee and Nebraska appear to be the top two programs for Sanders, who is set to announce his commitment on August 17.

Sanders, 6-foot-6/290 lbs from Charlotte, NC, is the No. 2 overall recruit in the nation.

The coveted recruit also has Georgia and Ohio State in his top four. But it’s Tennessee and Nebraska that are getting Sanders’ final two visits before he makes his decision. (Sanders will visit Knoxville and Lincoln this weekend.)

Nebraska has gained momentum late in this battle. For the last several weeks it’s been Ohio State that’s been viewed as Tennessee’s biggest competition for Sanders. But the Cornhuskers have managed to position themselves well as Sanders nears his decision.

On Thursday evening, Raiola, who committed to Nebraska last December, sent a tweet that asked fans to show up to welcome Sanders when he arrives on campus in LincolnĀ on Friday evening.
