LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A Lincoln man was arrested after police say he injured one person in a hit-and-run and assaulted an officer during his arrest. An officer spotted a silver pickup speeding southbound near 8th and M streets on Aug. 17 around 1:20 a.m. The pickup driver continued speeding down 9th Street and turned west on A Street, leaving the officer’s sight, according to the arrest affidavit.
