Above average temperatures return tomorrow; Cold front Tuesday night brings next chance of rain

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – The sweater weather was out in full force today with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 60’s across. Winds a bit breezy, especially to the west around 15-20 mph in the Tri-Cities and stronger to the west and the north. Temperatures cool off tonight into the low 40’s to upper 30’s with North Platte waking up around 34 degrees, around 39 to 40 here in the Tri-Cities, and 40 in Lincoln. Tomorrow the winds stay around 10 to 15 mph with occasional gusts around 20 mph. As a ridge moves into our region temperatures start to warm up back into the 70’s tomorrow, 72 in the Tri-Cities, 75 in North Platte, and 74 in Lincoln. The cloud cover from today will clear out tonight leaving plenty of sunshine for your Sunday. Lows Sunday night stay warm in the mid to upper 50’s.
