LINCOLN – Pierce was finally able to get the monkey off their back. After playing five straight state volleyball contests that went five sets, the Bluejays were able to get a game done in four as they came out with a 19-25, 25-22, 25-13, 25-18 win over Kearney Catholic to finish 3rd in Class C1.
