LINCOLN-(KFOR Jan. 4)-The City of Lincoln has issued a snow emergency, as of 8pm Saturday. According to a release from Lincoln Transportation and Utilities to KFOR News, a snow emergency parking ban will be in effect at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, January 5. That means parking is banned on both sides of emergency snow routes, arterial streets, school and bus routes. Maps of these routes are available at lincoln.ne.gov/snow under the “Parking Bans & Ordinances” tab. Please plan for alternate parking to allow crews room to clear the way safely and efficiently.
