Blizzard warning prompts school closures and late starts; cities declare snow emergency

KEARNEY, NEB. — Most of central Nebraska may see blizzard conditions early Wednesday prompting schools to close while cities declare snow emergencies.

Monday reached around 80 in the area and Tuesday brought sunny skies with temps in the 60s but Nebraska weather can change in a hurry and overnight into Wednesday things could turn dangerous.
