The City of Lincoln says several streets will be closed for several hours Saturday for the Lincoln Track Club Spring Forward Run. The race begins at 8 a.m. and the start and finish located at Antelope Park.
Police will control intersections along the race route, and residents are advised to plan ahead for traffic delays. The streets that will be closed are:
- 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. – A southbound lane of 56th Street from Normal Boulevard to Calvert Street
- 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. – An eastbound lane of Calvert Street from 48th Street to Sheridan Boulevard
- 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. – An eastbound lane of Normal Boulevard from “A” to 56th streets
- 6 a.m. to noon – Calvert Street from 48th to 56th streets
- 6 a.m. to noon – An eastbound lane of “A” Street from Memorial Drive to Normal Boulevard
North and southbound drivers are encouraged to use 27th and 70th streets and eastbound and westbound drivers are encouraged to use Randolph Street and Pioneers Boulevard to bypass the racecourse. The race will use portions of two trails: The Billy Wolff Trail from “A” Street to South Cotner Boulevard until 9 a.m. and the Rock Island Trail from “A” Street to Old Cheney Road until 11 a.m…
