LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Robotics and Legos. The two have combined themselves for the first Lego League Championship.
Ninety teams of kids ages nine to 14 have taken over the Cook Pavilion at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Rec center for the event. The event is in its second year at UNL. It’s put on by Nebraska 4-H.
The teams of kids work to solve robotics challenges using high-tech Legos. The goal is for the youth to develop and showcase skills in STEM while also exploring career paths…
