LINCOLN–(KFOR Mar. 28)–A water main issue in an east Lincoln neighborhood created temporary closures of streets to through traffic late Friday afternoon.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities said in a release to KFOR News that east and westbound traffic on Vine Street from Skyway Road to 84th Street, along with Manes Court, are closed for water main repairs. LTU crews were expected to restore water service to property owners in the area, as soon as the repairs are completed Friday evening.
LTU says additional street repairs will be needed and a time frame for that to happen is still being evaluated as of 6pm Friday…
