Police Say Woman Was Assaulted During Larceny in West Lincoln

LINCOLN–(KFOR Apr. 2)–Lincoln Police are investigating an assault and theft reported Tuesday morning, where three women assaulted a 48-year-old woman.

This happened in the area of the 400 block of West “O” Street, where officers were called and found the victim bleeding from the head. She told officers three women assaulted her, one of them had a black dog with her. As the victim was taken to the hospital, an officer later found three women at a bus stop, one of them had a black dog. Police say two of the women got on the bus, but an officer contacted the third woman, who was ultimately arrested for outstanding warrants and drugs.

Police say the 48-year-old victim was treated at a Lincoln hospital for a laceration above her left eye. She told police she was assaulted during the night by people she knew with a metal rod and had her personal belongings stolen…
