LPD announces impaired driving enforcement project set for the weekend of April 20

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department announced Monday that it will be conducting a driving enforcement project focused on impaired drivers Friday through Sunday in response to the enhanced drug use associated with April 20.

Additional officers will be deployed outside their normal shifts to identify and remove drivers from the road who are under the influence of alcohol, marijuana or other drugs around April 20.
