LINCOLN–(KFOR Apr. 18)–Starting Friday and through the end of Easter on Sunday, Lincoln Police will be doing a driving enforcement project that’s focused on impaired driving, in response to enhanced drug use associated with April 20.
Extra officers will be used outside of their normal shifts to identify and remove drivers from the road who are under the influence of alcohol, marijuana or other drugs around April 20. This effort is made possible through a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Safety Office.
