County Board Approves of Proposed Site for Downtown Lincoln Convention Center

LINCOLN–(KFOR May 6)–Approval was given Tuesday by the Lancaster County Board toward the proposed site for development of a downtown Lincoln convention center at 13th and “M” Streets.

The site was selected by Assemble Lincoln back in March. The County Board also approved the submittal of Lancaster County’s application to the State of Nebraska pursuant to the Conventional Center Facility Financing Assistance Act, which provides a financing mechanism to aid in the construction of the future convention center facility…
