Lincoln exhibition highlights art from Nebraska women

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – For centuries, the fine art world world has been a male-dominated space, with little opportunity for women to show off their artistic talents. But art enthusiasts in Lincoln now have the chance to see a new exhibition this month with paintings made entirely by Nebraska women over the last 100 years.

It’s all happening at the Lincoln Art Company on 48th Street.

From grain silos and sprawling grasslands to sad clowns and chocolate bars, the artistic works of Nebraska women have illustrated an abundance of perspectives over the last century…
