Man convicted of shooting at north Lincoln hotel is sentenced to prison

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Michigan man who fired a gun at a north Lincoln hotel last year will spend several years behind bars.

Micheal Cornejo, 29, was sentenced Tuesday to 18 to 26 years in prison for two counts of attempted class 2 felony and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest.

The prison sentence is automatically cut in half due to Nebraska’s good time law…
