Armed Robbery Early Thursday at NW Lincoln Convenience Store

LINCOLN–(KFOR June 5)–Lincoln Police responded to an armed robbery call just after 4am Thursday at the Fat Dog’s Convenience Store near NW 12th and West Adams, not far from the Lincoln Airport.

LPD public information manager Erika Thomas tells KFOR News an unknown man walked in, approached the counter with a pocketknife and demanded money. She said the employee threw an unknown amount of money at the suspect, who ended up grabbing some of the cash and left westbound through the parking lot. No one was hurt.

Thomas says the suspect is described as standing 5-5 to 5-7, wearing a gray stocking cap, black sweatshirt and blue jeans…
